In the book,Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare the character I find interesting is Benvolio.He is a Montague.He is Romeo's cousin.This because he has two sides of himself.For example,He's a peacemaker,clear-thinking, and reliable person but at the same time he does other things that make me question him.Benvolio always supports Romeo because he even helps Romeo see Juliet in secret.He is a true friend, He's such a good person but also a side that people don't see.
One way I know Benvolio is a good person is because he is a good friend.For example, when romeo wants to be left alone he leaves him,when he want's to talk Benvolio is there with a sympathetic ear.Also when Romeo is in trouble for killing Tybalt he is the one who get's him off the street and hiding.He cares about his cousin and acts like a best friend to him.Another way I know he is a good person is because he doesn't like solving things with violence.He always try's to stop fights he's a peacemaker.For example, when Tybalt and Mercutio and Romeo were fighting he tried to stop but unfortunately he couldn't.He has a side people don't see they think he's such a good person but sometimes he's not.An example is, he stretches the truth when he tells the prince that tybalt started the fight, Implying that he killed Mercutio without provocation.Which is kinda true but he stretched it a little.All in all I found Benvolio the most interesting character of all.
In conclusion,the title is BEnvolio for a reason.The reason is to BE Benvolio get it? he's such a good person.He cares for his friends he's a peacemaker what more can you ask for? Although I think Benvolio could of prevented Romeo and Juliet's death.At least it wasn't his fault it was the note that didn't get to him.

L O V E
In the book Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare there are many perspectives on love.Some don't really care about love and just wanna have fun.Others are looking for someone to love and are waiting for someone.Love is one of the biggest themes shown in the book.All the main characters have their own opinion on it and what they think love should be.
One perspective is Romeo's he is a total lover boy and a hopeless romantic.All he wants is someone to love.Unlike Mercutio who only wants to have fun and doesn't care about love he just wants to live in the moment.For example, when Mercutio says "Nay,gentle Romeo,We must have you dance" he's basically saying that instead of worrying about love Romeo should just party and forget about love.One way I know Romeo is a lover boy is because whenever he talks it sounds like he's saying a love poem.For example, when he says "I am too sore enpiercèd with his shaft
To soar with his light feathers, and so bound,I cannot bound a pitch above dull woe Under love’s heavy burden do I sink". In conclusion, I disagree and agree with some of the perspectives.The perspective I disagree with is Mercutio because he doesn't care about love and just wants to party.I kinda agree with Romeo's perspective but life isn't just all about love sometimes you just gotta have fun.Juliet is just confused at first but as the book goes on and she meets Romeo she understands what love really is.

Celebrities advertising for Junk foods.
In the article "Celebrities for sale?" by Mark Bittman is about how more and more celebrities are advertising for junk foods.This gives children a bad influence because instead of trying to get kids to exercise and get out and play its getting kids to eat junk food.Junk food companies are willing to pay anything just to have a celebrity advertise their product for them.To have more people see and know their product.Overall celebrities have advertised for junk food companies and its not a good influence on people.
Since the celebrities are advertising these products more and more people are most likely going to get diabetes and obesity.These products are not nutritious these products for example,Pepsi can make you gain a lot of weight if you drink a lot of it.This would give teenagers more low self-esteem then they already have.Also these products are paying a lot of money just so that there product could be advertise.For example,Pepsi has spent 50$ million dollars for Beyonce to do her "Creative Projects" as said in the article.Junk foods have appeared on T.V a bunch of times.For example,there was 324 shots of Snapple in"America's got talent".Let's face it that's a lot a lot of times and Snapple is paying a lot of money just so that their product could be seen.This surprises me because I couldn't believe that this what the world has come to.Junk food products have payed so much and what are people getting out of this? unhealthy things that's what.Junk food products should tone down the advertising a bit because its everywhere.The subway station,inside the train,inside the bus,on yellow taxi's and last but certainly not least T.V where you will always find a junk food commercial.

More poeple like Ronald
In the book The Taker by J.M Steele is about a girl named Carly who got really bad grades on her practice SAT test.There's a myth that there's this person who takes the SAT test for you and guarantees a high score.Carly decides to let the taker take the SAT test for her.This is all because she doesn't believe in her self scoring her grades up.In the story she begins to be influenced by Ronald and its a positive influence.
One reason I know Ronald is a positive influence on Carly is because he is helping her out by tutoring her for the SAT test and for the first time she's actually getting it.For example, when she took the second practice SAT test she got a better grade then she did on her first.That is because of Ronald's tutoring which has really helped Carly.Another reason I know Ronald is a positive influence is because he actually shows her love and supports her in every way.Unlike her boyfriend who only cares about his team and only wants to make out with her.Ronald even though he's a geek he's the right person for her.Carly is starting to have feelings for him but she doesn't want to.She even knows herself that her boyfriend Brandon is cheating on her.Yet she's still with him.Also he's a good influence on her to show her that you can achieve anything as long you study and take the time and effort.
In conclusion, I see similar things that are happening to teenagers they are cheating and giving up.They are not giving the time and effort to achieve something.This book shows a great message for teenagers and others because most people don't want to study and think cheating is the only answer.There should be more people like Ronald who actually care a support someone.I loved this book and I recommend it to others.

Have you Open Your Eyes yet?
In the song "Both of Us" By B.o.B ft Taylor Swift both singers talk about society and it's expectations.This song also talks about poverty and how once B.o.B used to be poor to.The lyrics are very powerful because they are talking about important problems around the world unlike other songs.The purpose of the song was that it would open peoples eyes to see what's really going on.For example, to show people worry about what society thinks about them.
One way I know the purpose of this song is to open people's eyes is because when B.o.B says "And sometimes I wonder, why we care so much about the way we look?And the way we talk and the way we act and the clothes we bought, how much that cost?Does it even really matter?".This lyric line shows how some people actually care about what society thinks about them.B.o.B is making a very general comment about the world we live in.To answer his question;no,nothing matters but to move through life we need a purpose.For a purpose we need to be motivated to do it.To motivate ourselves we need to do things such as accessorise and what not.Also another lyric line "Open up the fridge 'bout twenty times But still can't find no food in it That's foolishness,".What he is basically saying is that if you are poor of course you would hope there is food but even if it doesn't contain food you would open it more times hoping there would be.Also when he says "But sill can't find no food in it that foolishness" I think he refers to how foolish is is for someone to keep trying to look for something that doesn't exist.A third example is when he says "You just wanna live, but everything so low That you could drown in a puddle,". I think this line means that society has been so harsh and your in a place where everything is so miserable.This keeps your mood down which means your just sad.
All in all, I completely agree with the message these singers are trying to give to people.Specifically teenagers because the people who listen to these singers are teenagers.Some teenagers are actually facing these problems and some are being made fun of.I don't think its right for others to say anything about someones life there just trying to make a living.Its important to know that it doesn't matter if your rich or poor were all the same.

In the article "Undocumented Immigrants push Gov.Andrew Cuomo to support the Dream Act"By Erica Pearson is about how Immigrants are using all kinds of social networking sites to get Gov.Andrew Cuomo to support the dream act.There using twitter and his website to contact him.Also they have called his phone lines and its blown up with callers like these.The immigrants want financial aid for school.Most of the immigrants are poor that they can't afford to go to a college.With all the money they would need for the tuition they would not have enough for other needs.
The tuition has increased more lately and all immigrants want is a change.For example in the quote "“We are looking for TAP. It would give a lift, to get financial aid. ... We are expecting better things to happen this year.” said Alarcon, 18, a student at LaGuardia Community College whose parents brought him to the U.S. illegally from Mexico at age 11.This is a whole new year and new things should happen.The immigrants work "payed off" you would say because in the quote “We’re really making a big push for it to be included,” said Natalia Lopez, a youth advocate at non-profit Make the Road New York, which is hosting a Queens phone bank Tuesday.Which is basically saying they will try as hard as they can so that Gov.Cuomo will support the dream act.

Governor Cuomo to pass the Dream Act.Many are trying to convince him by
using social networking sites.For example,they have used twitter and
Facebook to ask him many times if he is going to support the Dream Act.A coalition of immigrant groups sent the governor a letter about the issue.Governor Cuomo has yet to respond to these acts.
"We are looking for TAP. It would give a lift, to get financial aid. ... We are expecting better things to happen this year"said Alarcon, 18, a student at LaGuardia Community College whose parents brought him to the U.S. illegally from Mexico at age 11.They just want a change there are a lot of hispanic people in the U.S most of them still don't have there green cards.Also the same person said “The governor should be focusing more on the Latino community,” I couldn't agree more.Even though the governor should still focus on other problems paying attention to the latino community would help a lot.
